Wealth, beauty and status define the people who live in the Hamptons. But one woman seeking revenge could destroy it all. Emily Thorne lived in the Hamptons until an incident ruined her family and their reputation, forcing them out of town. Years later, she has returned to her old neighborhood, blending in with the citizens and making friends, not letting on that she has lived there before. In an effort to right some of the past wrongs, she plans vengeance on those who wronged her and her family -- and she doesn't care at what cost.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

A campy, trashy nighttime soap, Revenge is pretty contrived stuff, but it's thoroughly entertaining, thanks to twisty plotting, strong visuals, and a host of interesting characters.

Hans Olav H It starts off with an interesting angle an potential, but dwindle into a standard boring soap going nowhere in a slow pace Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/05/25 Full Review M T This could easily be called General Hospital, Days of our Lives or One Life to Live and nobody would bat an eye. Madelyn Stowe is by far the best part of this series and she chews up every scene she is in. Season got better after a slow start. Wonderfully casted and written. Only thing I disliked is that it ended because I loved it. Edge of your seat, suspenseful and such interesting character development.
